Job summary

You will lead architecture, cloud integration, and cross-BU collaboration to advance motion planning and platform investments. We expect 10+ years in software, 5+ in leadership, and strong skills in C++, C#, Python, and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• Deep CAM/toolpath and motion planning domain knowledge.
• Strong programming skills: C++, C#, Python; proficient with Git.
• Experience architecting cloud/hybrid-cloud services.
• Budget ownership and multi-team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term toolpath and motion technology roadmap.
• Lead development of next-generation motion planning technology.
• Evolve toolpath tech toward cloud/hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Partner with BU and Product leadership to align requirements and delivery.
• Transition validated research into production-quality deliverables.
• Own build, partner, and buy evaluations for motion/toolpath components.
• Safeguard IP and support patent activities.
