Job summary

ServiceNow seeks a seasoned leader to head Mobile Platform Engineering, powering AI-native enterprise experiences across iOS and Android. You will hire top mobile and AI talent, set an AI-forward engineering culture, and deliver scalable platform capabilities for purpose-built enterprise apps.

In this role you will own the technical roadmap, establish reliability processes, and partner with product, design, AI, and infrastructure to deliver differentiated mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with significant experience leading mobile engineering organizations (Android and iOS).
• 3+ years leading engineering managers or multi-team organizations.
• Strong technical depth in mobile architecture, APIs, distributed systems, cloud-native services, networking, security, data synchronization, and MAM/MDM enterprise integrations.
• Track record building and scaling enterprise-grade mobile applications or mobile platforms used at large scale.
• Experience managing Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile platform roadmap for enterprise capabilities across Android and iOS.
• Establish on-call rotations, incident response processes, and a blameless postmortem culture to drive reliability improvements.
• Define reusable frameworks, SDKs, and platform patterns accelerating app development across product teams.
• Partner with Product, Design, AI, Infrastructure, and Business to deliver differentiated mobile experiences.
• Drive performance, reliability, security, scalability, and operational rigor across the mobile platform.
• Lead architecture reviews and complex decisions across mobile, platform integration, and application layers.
• Own the mobile build and delivery pipeline, including CI/CD reliability and testing infrastructure.
• Establish standards for observability, telemetry, mobile performance benchmarking, and production readiness.
• Mentor Engineering Managers, Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, and senior contributors.
• Advance mobile innovation through AI-enabled workflows and modern development practices.
