Job summary

Meta is seeking a Director of Software Engineering for the Central Integrity team. You will lead ML engineering managers and engineers to build scalable defenses that safeguard billions of users on Meta platforms, shaping strategy and execution across multiple teams.

You’ll partner with product, design, and data science to drive outcomes, grow leadership, and maintain high engagement while upholding Meta’s ethical standards and compliance obligations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 7+ years in engineering management, including managing other engineering managers.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale impact leveraging Machine Learning with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage varied teams of ML engineers and engineering managers.
• Define and execute engineering strategy and multi-team roadmaps balancing technical investment, emerging capabilities, and business priorities.
• Build and scale engineering organizations by attracting, developing, and retaining engineers and engineering managers across multiple teams.
• Establish team structures and operating models that maximize impact while minimizing organizational complexity.
• Partner with product, design, and data science counterparts to drive shared accountability for outcomes across the full product development lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and resolve cross-functional execution risks and blockers.
