Job summary

Meta's Central Security team is seeking a Software Engineer (Technical Leadership) to drive secure, scalable AI/ML systems across the company. You will architect security frameworks for large-scale products and lead a cross-functional group of engineers, analysts, and program managers.

You will influence senior leadership, shape long-term security roadmaps, and mentor teams to embed secure-by-design practices throughout the AI lifecycle, from conception to deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 12+ years coding in C, C++, Java and/or C#.
• 12+ years building server applications.
• Experience leading projects with company-wide impact.
• Mentoring/influencing engineers across organizations.
• Experience planning multi-year roadmaps.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive security solutions for AI/ML products and features.
• Architect security frameworks for large-scale AI/ML lifecycles.
• Act as a Senior IC within a cross-functional team of Security and Software Engineers.
• Present tradeoffs and security recommendations to senior leadership.
