Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Power Electronics Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering medium‑voltage drive systems for marine propulsion, rolling mills, compressors, and other critical industrial applications. You will shape project delivery, mentor engineers, and implement disciplined engineering practices across global teams.

You will guide software and hardware reviews, drive advanced motor control algorithms, and champion real-time validation through HIL and RT-LAB simulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in variable speed drives, power quality, or motor control.
• 3+ years embedded software with RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end project execution with cross-functional teams.
• Provide engineering leadership for TRA during ITO phase.
• Lead design-to-cost analysis for proposals.
• Own OTR execution for VSD projects on schedule and budget.
• Champion LEAN and continuous improvement across projects.
