We are seeking a customer focused marketing leader to lead the marketing function across GIH and lead the customer engagement Centre of Excellence for the International Health (IH) business.

Reporting to the Head of Direct Sales, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing, including acquisition, digital, broker and communications. In parallel leading the customer engagement team for IH ensuring that we are creating best in class customer engagement with our customers.

This role requires a deep understanding of the addressable market for GIH across both our direct and broker channels. Working closely with our marketing agency to develop strategies to create deep engagement with the market across all media channels and optimising our customer acquisition.

This role requires an understanding of the Health Insurance market and working within financially regulated markets. As well as experience of working with cross-functional teams in a multi-national environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Strategy: Create and lead the long-term marketing strategy for the business across all marketing and sale acquisition channels. Working closely with the proposition team, develop segment focused marketing strategies to drive penetration of our target segments and differentiate our brand in the market.

Marketing Acquisition: With our marketing agency, develop and execute a full-funnel D2C marketing strategy to acquire, engage, and retain customers. Using data-driven insights to refine campaigns and optimize customer journeys.

Broker Marketing: Working alongside the broker sales team, develop engagement strategies for the broker community. Listening and acting on feedback from brokers, optimizing our engagement with them and supporting their own acquisition of customers. Leading both regional and global broker marketing and engagement events to broker support sales engagement.

Marketing Communications: Lead our creative service capabilities which support customer engagement and internal communications execution.

Customer Engagement: Support the IH business lines to increase customer engagement, measuring success through customer value, tenure and relationship NPS.

Marketing agency engagement: Be the single owner of the relationship of our marketing agency, working closely with them to execute our marketing strategy with them.

Data-driven decision making: Utilize data analytics and market insights to inform distribution strategies, track performance metrics and make informed decisions to drive growth

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team, aligned with Cigna’s culture and values. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, accountability and teamwork..

Compliance: With high levels of personal integrity, ensure that all distribution activities comply with both local market and Cigna standards

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA is preferred.

Industry and leadership experience of 10+ years.

Proven experience in a regional or global leadership role.

Experience in leading and influencing in a matrixed environment is critical.

Extensive proficiency in digital marketing, including PPC, affiliates, SEO, CRM, and social media, with a strong focus on maximizing ROI.
