About The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager with a passion for storytelling and a hunger for learning to join our growing team. The Product Marketing Manager will play a key role on the team responsible for telling our product and solution story to prospects, customers, the broader marketplace, and internal audiences, as well as understanding segment-specific requirements to help drive new capabilities and solutions.

The Product Marketing Manager will own multiple products within the ClearGov Product Suite and will work cross-functionally with members of our Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Training teams to drive go-to-market plans for product launches. This position will create and update key product resources for these solutions, deliver ongoing sales enablement, and be a key advocate for ClearGov solutions and their associated benefits for local governments and school districts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Messaging: Serve as the marketing expert for solution storytelling, focusing on crafting compelling value propositions, differentiators, and use cases that resonate with our audience segments
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Develop and execute GTM plans that effectively introduce new products to targeted segments in collaboration with product and sales teams
  • Competitor & Market Intelligence: Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and personas, and leverage this information to create battlecards, persona profiles, and other resources for key stakeholders
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver product content and collateral materials that educate and empower the sales teams to have more informed conversations and support pipeline growth
  • Campaign Planning: Work with the Demand Generation team to drive strategic campaign development that results in increased demand, usage, and adoption

Critical Skills/Experience:

  • 5-7 years of software product marketing experience required
  • Proven success working in a high volume, multi-faceted environment managing multiple projects that require exceptional proactive strategic decision making, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including the ability to offer out-of-the-box and creative solutions
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, leading projects, and GTM plans
  • Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to influence via indirect authority
  • Experience in local governments and/or school districts is a plus, but not required

Compensation:

  • In the spirit of transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at ClearGov, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, interview performance, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring beyond the base range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
