Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to automation.
Experience delivering automation solutions in manufacturing environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
Hands-on breadth across hardware and software, not only vendor management.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and mentor a team of automation and controls engineers.
Develop and execute the automation strategy and roadmap across programs.
Identify and prioritize automation opportunities based on ROI, safety, and quality.
Lead automation projects from concept through production release.
Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and IT to define requirements.
Provide technical leadership for controls, robotics, machine vision, and motion control.
Stay hands-on with hardware and software, setting the technical bar.
Establish standards, documentation, and best practices for scalable automation.
