Job summary

2K Games, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Online Services to lead the live operation of a AAA free-to-play, cross‑platform title. You will direct frontend engineering for online systems and oversee Backend and Build Engineering, partnering with Product Management to deliver runtime features and pipelines.

You will guide live operations, release readiness, telemetry, and player engagement tooling, while collaborating with 2K Core Technology teams to align shared tech needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years of leadership on AAA cross-platform Live Services games.
• Experience operating a shipped live service — release management, incident response, scale and availability.
• Deep understanding of online services, authentication, matchmaking, social features, and commerce.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision and roadmap for online services.
• Manage Backend Engineering and Build Engineering leads and teams.
• Own release management, cadence, patching, and safe rollout.
