Stedi is leading a remote-first, healthcare technology platform that offers API-driven processing for healthcare transactions. We seek a senior litigator to own disputes—driving strategy from theory to resolution, and coordinating with regulators and internal teams.

The successful candidate will bring 12+ years of complex disputes experience, a track record of initiating cases, and the ability to collaborate with engineers while upholding Stedi's high standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years litigating complex commercial disputes with first-chair experience.
• Track record of initiating cases and handling regulatory matters.
• Strong writing and ability to work with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own Stedi's affirmative disputes from theory, evidentiary development, and demand letters to regulatory complaints and litigation.
• Run the regulatory-enforcement track alongside litigation, leveraging HIPAA Administrative Simplification, state regulators, and antitrust authorities.
• Defend the company across commercial, customer, and other disputes, keeping work in-house and maintaining high standards for outside counsel.

• Defend the company across commercial, customer, and other disputes, keeping work in-house wherever possible and holding outside counsel to high standards.

Who You Are:

• 12+ years litigating complex commercial disputes with first-chair experience and a track record of initiating cases.
• Depth in antitrust, complex contract disputes, or regulatory enforcement; healthcare or technology background strongly preferred.
• A strong writer, resourceful, credible with engineers, and philosophically aligned with the Stedi Standards.
