Job summary

Mythic is seeking a Director of IT & DevOps to own corporate IT, DevOps, and the compute environments across four sites. You’ll lead identity, endpoints, applications, security, and the build/CI infrastructure, while aligning with CTO and engineering leadership.

You will drive modernization across data centers, EDA compute, and a unified SaaS governance program, partnering with FP&A on renewals and spend.

Qualifications

10+ years in IT and/or infrastructure engineering.
3+ years managing and growing a team, senior IT leader experience.
Hands-on administration of modern SaaS stacks and identity providers.
Experience integrating HRIS and ERP-like systems (Rippling, NetSuite).
Track record in SaaS governance, license management and spend reporting.
Deep Linux expertise across RHEL/CentOS/Rocky and Debian/Ubuntu.
Security, patching, logging, SIEM, audits and regulatory compliance.
Experience supporting multi-site international organizations (GDPR familiarity).

Responsibilities

Own corporate IT and DevOps end-to-end across Palo Alto, Austin, Hannover and Bangalore.
Lead the corporate application estate and lifecycle for identity, collaboration, and business systems.
Build inventory, renewal calendars, owner/approver mapping and vendor risk processes.
Finish connecting Rippling to Okta to automate joiner/mover/leaver events.
Oversee CI/CD, Kubernetes, and build/CI infrastructure across sites.
Manage Austin datacenter, EDA compute licensing, and hardware capacity planning.
Run security program including OS lifecycle, audits, and data protection standards.
Set IT budget, vendor contracts, and SaaS portfolio governance.
