Job summary
Fortune Media is seeking a hands-on Director of IT to own the technology backbone across identity, endpoints, networking, security, and collaboration tooling. You will lead a small team of two and be accountable for day-to-day service quality as well as long-term modernization, reporting to the VP of Engineering in a Microsoft-centric environment.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in IT operations or infrastructure.
- 2+ years managing people preferred but not required.
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration required.
- Deep hands-on networking experience (LAN/WLAN, DNS/DHCP, VPN, multi-site).
- Hands-on security expertise (IAM, patching, MFA/conditional access).
- Experience supporting global offices across time zones.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a two-person IT team.
- Support offices and remote staff across time zones.
- Oversee live/hybrid events and newsroom broadcasts.
- Own IT budget, renewals, licenses, and contracts.
- Act as single point of accountability for corporate IT.
