ITE Management L.P. is seeking an experienced technology leader to serve as Head of IT, responsible for building and driving the firm's information technology strategy.

This role calls for a seasoned professional with 7-15 years of progressive experience in information management. The ideal candidate can work with non-technical business stakeholders and drive adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working across a growing, global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7–15 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management.
• Strong compliance frameworks and data protection knowledge.
• Experience partnering with non-technical business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead organizational change and tool adoption.
• Expert in Microsoft M365, Azure, Entra ID + Duo, Intune and Purview; JAMF.
• Solid network security expertise (firewalls, VPNs, MFA, EDR, SIEM).
• Cloud infrastructure experience with Azure.
• Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell and/or Python) a plus.
• Experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and MSP relationships.

Position Summary

This role calls for a seasoned professional with 7-15 years of progressive experience in information management. The ideal candidate is a change leader who can work effectively with non-technical business stakeholders and drive adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working across a growing, global organization.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure, Security & Performance

• Own ITE’s cloud infrastructure strategy (e.g., M365, Azure), ensuring high availability, scalability, and modernization across endpoints, networks, and systems.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of all systems, including access controls, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and audits, and compliance with relevant data protection requirements and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF).
• Establish and enforce data security policies across the management company including data encryption, endpoint protection, and secure communication across all platforms.
• Maintain and monitor disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and coordinate system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance with minimal business disruption.
• Manage infrastructure costs and optimize cloud spend as data volumes and analytical workloads grow.
• Build IT infrastructure, support and processes that support a global company with main offices in New York and London.
• Manage and oversee IT service providers, MSP, and third-party vendors to ensure SLAs are met, and perform and maintain vendor due diligence in collaboration with the Compliance team.
• Work closely with the firm’s MSP to ensure cybersecurity measures are best-in-class.

Organization & Team Leadership

• Lead, and develop information technology team
• Manage team responsible for ITE help desk and network connectivity both in the United States and abroad, ensuring employees have the tools and systems to work efficiently and securely.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment

• Partner with vertical and Labs teams to assess technology needs, define solution criteria, and ensure selected systems support both investment and business goals.
• Work with and the Labs team to ensure Cloud infrastructure technology and processes provide the availability of data needed to support the current and future needs of the analytical end user teams
• Ensure information technology supports the firm’s broader modernization roadmap and help scale processes across functions.

Strategic & Project Leadership

• Define and lead execution of the firm’s information technology roadmap in partnership with executive leadership.
• Lead IT projects from planning to deployment, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
• Support initiatives that improve how ITE and its verticals use technology, including systems integration, cross-firm reporting automation, and evaluation of new tools or platforms.

Documentation & Risk Management

• Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, licenses, and policy frameworks.
• Develop and maintain incident response and escalation protocols.
• Track and report IT metrics, security incidents, and performance trends.
• Oversee security awareness training (SAT).
• Support operational due diligence (ODD) questionnaires and investor interviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• 7-15 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management
• Strong compliance frameworks
• Experience working directly with non-technical business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working
• Expert on Microsoft M365, Azure, Entra ID + Duo, Intune and Purview, as well as JAMF
• Strong proficiency with network security (firewalls, VPNs, MFA, EDR, MDR/SIEM and disaster recovery)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure)
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell and/or Python) a plus
• Proven experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and working with an MSP
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance protocols, and audit processes
• Previous experience leading a small to mid-size IT team at a financial buy-side firm
• Demonstrated ability to translate business and investment objectives into technology strategy, working closely with operating leaders and investment teams.
