Datavant is seeking a Senior Director, Inventory Strategy to translate client retrieval demand into actionable inventory plans across channels and partners. You will own forecasting, routing rules, and performance governance to optimize retrieval outcomes, cost, and service levels.

The role requires building a scalable, data-driven inventory planning discipline and partnering with Operations, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and vendor leadership to identify risks and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, supply chain, analytics, finance, healthcare administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years of progressive experience in operations, inventory planning, demand forecasting, capacity planning, workforce planning, or related field, including leadership.
• Experience translating demand forecasts and objectives into actionable production, routing, prioritization, and capacity plans in a high-volume, multi-channel environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify performance risks, develop recovery plans, governance, and influence decisions across boundaries.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including evaluating productivity, capacity, yield, cost, and other tradeoffs.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to develop operational technology and AI-enabled workflows.
• Exceptional executive communication and ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, data-visualization, BI tools; SQL is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own the inventory strategy and planning framework for Payer Retrieval and translate demand into weekly and daily plans.
• Establish forecasting, segmentation, and prioritization strategies based on commitments, pacing, and cost.
• Own routing framework for inventory across channels based on provider behavior, capacity, and cost.
• Evaluate channel performance and adjust distribution to reduce delays and manual intervention.
• Monitor performance against client commitments and lead recovery for at-risk inventory.
• Use scenario planning to assess demand, capacity, and client priorities and provide guidance.
