Datavant is seeking a Director of Retrieval Operations – Inventory Strategy to translate client demand into weekly and daily inventory plans across retrieval channels, driving forecasting, routing, and governance for payer retrieval operations.

The role builds a scalable, data-driven inventory-planning discipline and partners with Operations, Workforce Management, Call Center leadership, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, and vendors to optimize flow, cost, and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Eight+ years in operations or inventory planning with leadership experience.
• Ability to translate forecasts into production and routing plans.
• Experience with governance, metrics, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own the inventory strategy and planning framework for Payer Retrieval.
• Establish forecasting, segmentation, and prioritization strategies.
• Own routing framework across retrieval channels.
• Evaluate channel performance to reduce delays and improve cost efficiency.
• Monitor performance against commitments and lead recovery planning.
• Partner with workforce and operational leaders to align staffing with demand.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and governance routines.
