Datavant is seeking a Director, Retrieval Operations – Inventory Strategy to translate client retrieval demand into actionable inventory plans across channels, operations, and vendor partners. This leader will forecast, prioritize, route, allocate, pace, and govern performance for Payer Retrieval Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 8+ years in operations, inventory planning, forecasting, or capacity planning.
• Experience translating demand forecasts into actionable production, routing, and capacity plans in high-volume settings.
• Ability to identify risks, establish governance, and influence decisions across org boundaries.
• Strong financial and analytical skills evaluating productivity, capacity, service, yield, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Own the inventory strategy and planning framework for Payer Retrieval, translating client demand into weekly and daily operating plans.
• Establish forecasting, segmentation, and prioritization strategies based on commitments, inventory age, and yield.
• Own routing framework for inventory across channels considering cost, capacity, and service levels.
• Monitor performance against commitments and lead recovery for inventory behind pace or blocked.
• Lead scenario planning to evaluate changes in demand, capacity, and priorities and provide data-supported recommendations.
• Partner with Workforce Management to align demand with staffing and capacity plans.
