Job summary

Hormel Foods, based in Austin, MN, is seeking an Head of Internal Communications to set strategy, governance and execution across the enterprise, translating business priorities into clear messaging and partnering with senior leaders, HR and business units.

Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, you will lead the internal communications team, define standards and drive executive and change communications with high visibility and impact, including coordinating with corporate leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in communications, public relations or a related field with demonstrated success supporting or leading corporate communications initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead internal communications strategy in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong executive presence with experience advising senior leaders and building relationships.
