Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Design Manager to lead design teams, implement workplace standards, and support designers across assigned accounts from concept through construction.

Hybrid or remote work is possible with on-site collaboration in Concord, NH. The role requires strong leadership, Revit proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA or NAAB accredited institution in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 4+ years of professional design experience.
• 4+ years of Revit experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in architectural drawings, concepts & design.
• Strong time management and collaborative skills; able to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to lead a team and delegate effectively.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design professionals from sketch through construction.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, standards, varying complexity, and resources.
• Support Project Designers in quality review of design deliverables.
• Communicate new processes and design standards to the team.
• Ensure space plans meet health, safety, and code requirements.
• Review furniture, fixtures, equipment, and millwork specs to meet client needs.
• Provide ongoing training on space planning and FF&E.
• Develop client workplace standards and seek improvements.
• Apply knowledge of space planning, finishes, lighting, acoustics, wayfinding, ergonomics.
• Work independently or with minor oversight on design phases.
• Oversee third-party relationships with architects, engineers, etc.
• Provide knowledge of FF&E vendors to the team.
