Job summary

ABHS is seeking an Intake & Assessment Therapist in Massachusetts. This full-time role supports clients seeking mental health services, conducting evaluations and intake assessments, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team.

You will document in the Electronic Medical Record, ensure HIPAA compliance, and provide diagnostic impressions and treatment planning. A Master’s degree and 2–4 years of clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a clinical field or related area.
• Experience in clinical treatment or intake in a mental health setting.
• Knowledge of DSM-V, HIPAA, and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and intake assessments with DSM-V considerations.
• Communicates with involved parties following HIPAA regulations.
• Input data into Electronic Medical Record and prepare notes.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments with medical and clinical staff.
• Maintain clinical records and liaise with outside crisis services.
