Job summary

Transaera in Somerville, MA is seeking a Head of Installation & Service to own the end-to-end post-sale experience for our DOAS units. You’ll move units from factory to rooftop safely, on schedule, and ensure uptime through robust service.

This builder role defines processes, playbooks, and metrics that scale with the company. You’ll partner with sales, engineering, and operations, build a network of field technicians and service partners, and establish SLAs, documentation, and a nationwide

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or field services.
• Strong project management instincts with ability to keep deadlines.
• Startup DNA: comfortable with ambiguity and building new functions.
• Excellent vendor and contractor management skills.
• Clear, direct communicator with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of installation from factory to rooftop.
• Build relationships with contractors and vendors to standardize install work.
• Develop installation docs, quick start guides, and training materials.
• Track active deliveries and remove blockers to ensure on-time installation.
• Define and own SLAs for response and resolution times.
• Stand up tools and dashboards to track jobs from order to commissioning.
• Help hire and onboard field operations coordinators.
