Job summary

Transaera, based in Somerville, MA, seeks a Head of Installation & Service to own the post-sale experience from factory to rooftop and beyond. You will build scalable processes, collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations, and establish a service roadmap with a network of field partners.

You’ll create repeatable playbooks, supervise vendors, and drive uptime through proactive problem solving, documentation, and SOPs, enabling a seamless customer journey from order to commissioning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations, PM, or field services, coordinating product delivery or construction-adjacent work.
• Strong PM instincts: keep projects on track and flag issues early.
• Startup DNA: comfortable with ambiguity and building new things.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full logistics chain from factory to rooftop, including permits, certifications, and commissioning.
• Build and manage relationships with installers and vendors to standardize work.
• Develop installation documentation, rigging diagrams, quick start guides, and checklists.
