Job summary

Lancaster County is seeking a Senior Inmate Services Administrator to oversee program services for inmates, including counseling, education, religious, and substance abuse programs. You will coordinate policy implementation, ensure compliance with correctional standards, and supervise a team across multiple domains.

The role reports to the Warden and involves collaboration with law enforcement, court personnel, and contracted providers to support rehabilitation and reentry objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in Administration of Justice or related field plus five years supervisory training and experience.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of program objectives, policies, correctional laws, applicable court orders, procedures, and requirements for managing a secure correctional facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, development and implementation of policies/procedures related to inmate services and programs.
• Ensure compliance with correctional standards and PA Code Title 37.
• Maintain working relationships with law enforcement and County agencies.
• Supervise medical, mental health and dental treatment/services with the security department.
• Oversee inmate trustee and work programs, chaplaincy and dietary services.
• Prepare preliminary annual budget for Inmate Services and related programs.
