Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake seeks a Director of Infection Prevention & Control to lead the organization’s infection prevention program, oversee surveillance, data analysis, policy development, and resource management with 24-hour accountability.

You will build partnerships, mentor staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement using epidemiological methods and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• CIC certification required.
• RN license required.
• BSN or higher in Nursing/Public Health/Epidemiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced professional and clinical leadership on infection control across the organization.
• Coordinates the infection control program including surveillance, data analysis, and policy development.
• Builds collaborative relationships to achieve clinical, financial and quality objectives.
• Lead evidence-based practice initiatives for continuous quality improvement.
• Develops KPIs and ensures accountability for outcomes in infection prevention.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
