The Director Infection Prevention at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball leads the hospital's infection prevention program, develops strategies, and ensures CMS/TJC compliance. This role supervises Infection Preventionists and partners with hospital leadership to protect patients and staff.
You will oversee epidemiologic studies, risk assessments, and performance improvement projects. A CIC certification and RN license are required, with Masters and Bachelors degrees also required.

Develops and implements all aspects of the infection control plan for using CDC, TJC, WHO & OSHA guidelines; supports directors and managers in complying with regulatory and accrediting standards related to infection control practices; provides resources and evaluation in achieving infection control goals and meeting all CMS/TJC regulations for Infection Control; and leads teams in epidemiological studies, failure mode and effect analysis, and performance improvement projects related to infection control. Must use knowledge of microbiology to support proper management of infectious organisms and surveillance systems. Supervises Infection Preventionists.
