Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Parkridge Medical Center seeks a Clinical Excellence & Infection Prevention Director to lead the hospital-wide Infection Prevention program, including surveillance, analysis, and reporting of infections and education of staff. The role focuses on policy development and performance improvement to ensure regulatory standards are met.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a health-related field, 4+ years clinical experience, 5+ years in leadership and infection control, Tennessee RN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field is required; Master's preferred.
• 4+ years of clinical experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of infection prevention experience.
• RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state preferred.
• CIC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement hospital Infection Prevention policies and plans.
• Lead annual Infection Prevention Risk Assessment and Plan.
• Collaborate with Quality and IP teams to drive improvement.
• Coordinate infection prevention education and staff training.
• Monitor infection data and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant infection prevention databases.
• Support emergency management activities and drills.
• Engage with Employee Health for program alignment.
• Prepare timely reports on the infection prevention program.
• Build relationships with patients, families and staff.
