Job summary

Orb Staging in New York is seeking a Manager of Implementation Architects to lead a distributed team across SF and NYC, overseeing the technical post-sales journey from kickoff to go-live. You will combine hands-on implementation work with people development, establishing quality standards and delivery outcomes.

You will partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term account health while driving scalable processes, architectures, and best practices across engagements.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in technical post-sales roles such as solutions engineering, implementation consulting or technical account management.
• 3-5 years of people management experience with a track record of growing ICs and driving results.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and SQL; adept at translating tradeoffs for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Implementation Architects across SF and NYC.
• Act as the Implementation Architect for your own set of customers.
• Own team delivery outcomes ensuring implementations are on track and high quality.
• Engineer and ship product enhancements to support customer requirements to go live.
• Drive consistent implementation methodology across the team (kickoffs, discovery, API design, go-live).
• Run 1:1s and provide feedback to grow each team member.
• Partner with Customer Success for smooth handoffs and long-term account health.
• Escalate and resolve blockers; act as senior technical resource for complex implementations.
• Identify patterns and advocate for product/engineering improvements.
• Contribute to team documentation, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Recruiting on hiring, interviewing, and onboarding for the team.
