Job summary

GasTech seeks a Senior HSE Specialist to build and lead the health, safety, and environmental function across our heavy fabrication shop and facility. You will design programs, establish recordkeeping, and drive continuous improvement to make safety the standard, not the exception.

You will conduct risk assessments, lead audits and investigations, and mentor leaders to foster a proactive safety culture. Strong OSHA knowledge and hands-on leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive, hands-on safety experience in heavy manufacturing or fabrication.
• Proven ability to enforce PPE and safe work practices with measurable results.
• Experience leading safety culture change and setting up safety programs.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; OSHA 30+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of safety programs in compliance with OSHA 1910.
• Establish HSE processes, recordkeeping, and performance metrics across shop and facility.
• Own incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop training, conduct onboarding and annual refreshers, and track qualifications.
• Maintain OSHA logs and coordinate inspections with leadership and HR.
