Job summary

GTI Fabrication seeks a proactive Safety Specialist to support daily EHS operations on the production floor. You will coach employees, conduct inspections, and promote a culture of safety across fabrication, welding, paint, electrical assembly, and warehouse areas.

This role partners with Operations, Manufacturing Leadership, HR, and employees to ensure OSHA compliance, document incidents, and drive continuous safety improvements through training and action tracking.

Qualifications

• : 3-5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in manufacturing/fabrication settings.
• : Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• : Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• : Ability to identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement controls.
• : Strong communication and organizational skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of GTI's EHS programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across facilities.
• Identify unsafe conditions/behaviors and coordinate corrective actions with leadership.
• Maintain OSHA logs, incident records, and incident investigations.
• Assist with workers' compensation documentation and Return-to-Work processes.
• Coach supervisors and employees on safe work practices on the production floor.
