Job summary

PROACTIVE Vacations is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping operations across vacation rental properties. You will lead a hands-on team, coordinate cleaners and inspectors, and ensure guest-ready cleanliness and consistent quality across all homes.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, plus the ability to schedule, train, and manage costs. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Holden Beach, NC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in vacation rental property management.
• Proven leadership and team-management abilities.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations for vacation rentals.
• Recruit, train, and supervise housekeepers and inspectors.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules with guest arrivals/departures.
• Develop cleaning procedures and quality standards.
• Manage rates, invoices, and cost controls.
• Address guest housekeeping concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments for readiness.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
