Job summary

Rainmaker Hospitality seeks a Head of Maintenance to lead the hotel’s maintenance and engineering operations in Cincinnati. You will direct preventive maintenance, asset management, and capital planning to protect assets and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with codes and brand standards while fostering a safety-focused culture and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience in hospitality or a similar environment.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with budgeting, capital planning, and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all maintenance and engineering operations.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance and asset management programs.
• Oversee the operation, repair, and lifecycle management of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, brand standards, and OSHA.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, front office, and other departments to support seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities using work order systems.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
