Job summary

Anthropic, a San Francisco–based AI safety company, is seeking a Manager to lead the Healthcare and Life Sciences Solutions Architect team within Applied AI. You will guide pre-sales efforts, partner with account executives, and help healthcare customers deploy Claude Code, Cowork, Claude Science, and Claude Development Platform.

You will hire and mentor engineers, set performance goals, and represent Anthropic in strategic engagements, traveling to customer sites and conferences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Solutions Architect or similar pre-sales technical role.
• 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience.
• Experience selling to Healthcare and Life Sciences companies.
• Deep proficiency with enterprise AI use cases and API integrations.
• GTM experience anchored on a consumption model, not SaaS-only.
• Ability to scale teams and processes in fast-moving environments.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and guide a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects.
• Set goals for the team in collaboration with sales and cross-functional teams.
• Act as a technical sponsor for high-value customers and advise on AI adoption strategies.
• Partner with sales leadership to drive adoption in verticals and use cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to unblock adoption and capture feedback.
• Travel to customer sites and conferences for executive engagements and workshops.
• Create solutions that enable safe, beneficial AI in products.
• Contribute to thought leadership through conferences, webinars, and content.
