Sans is seeking a Director of Hardware Product Development to own the end-to-end hardware development lifecycle, from concept to mass production. You will lead hardware strategy and execution, coordinating with factory partners and external engineers to ensure high-quality, scalable devices.

You will translate product goals into actionable development plans, maintain schedules, and drive decision-making across ODMs, OEMs, and internal teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Product Design Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience developing consumer hardware products with outsourced partners.
• 3+ years in a role with clear ownership over hardware programs or cross-functional execution.

Mansioni

• Own hardware product development end-to-end from concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, to mass production.
• Translate product requirements into clear direction for factory partners and external engineers.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across operations, firmware, software, and industrial design.
• Drive design reviews, FMEA, and DfX discipline across cost, manufacturability, reliability, and quality.
• Manage Asia-based ODM/OEM relationships and hold partners to Sans standards.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, validation, and issue resolution before launch.
• Ensure hardware compliance with FCC, CE, UL and UK/EU frameworks.
• Provide senior technical leadership and ownership of hardware programs.
