Job summary

CspeedIO, Inc. in Palo Alto seeks a veteran Hardware Lead to own and grow the lab, manage test and validation, and drive board and ASIC bring-up from concept to production.

You will oversee schematic capture, layout review, bench bring-up, and lead senior ICs while building a capable lab team across global sites. You will own lab infrastructure, equipment budgets, and the testing that proves performance of high-speed, mixed-signal boards and optical systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in hardware engineering with shipped products.
• Hands-on with schematics, layout and measurements.
• Experience leading hardware labs and cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in high-speed SI/PI and mixed-signal boards.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab expansion: space planning, power, cooling, safety.
• Own capital equipment budget and bring up test equipment.
• Oversee test, validation, and characterization across EVT, DVT, and PVT.
• Be the single point of accountability for board requirements across CMOS, packaging, optics, and systems.
