Job summary

Acceler8 Talent is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer in San Francisco to lead the development of high-speed circuit boards and advanced ASIC integrations. You will design Ethernet switches, CPU subsystems, memory interfaces, and networking components, ensuring robust system-level performance and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with software, thermal, mechanical, and supply chain teams to validate designs, optimize power and signal integrity, and help define design standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field (BS or MS).
• Strong experience in hardware system design for high-speed, high-power applications.
• Hands-on skills in signal/power integrity, thermal management, and compliance (UL, CE, FCC).
• Familiarity with CPU subsystems (x86, ARM, BMC), power systems (DC/DC), and digital logic (VHDL/Verilog).
• A history of successfully shipping complex hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Design Ethernet switches, CPU subsystems, memory, and networking interfaces
• Develop complex high-speed circuit boards with advanced ASICs and optical modules
• Perform system-level analysis, simulation, validation, and debugging
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, thermal, mechanical, and supply chain teams
• Contribute to defining and improving design standards and best practices
