Job summary

Unum is seeking an Assistant Vice President of CX Growth Analytics to lead a technical team driving Demand Generation revenue growth. This role partners with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and GTM Value Stream to deliver measurement, attribution, and data pipelines that fuel strategic growth.

The leader will grow a multidisciplinary team spanning Data Science, Data Engineering, BI, and Marketing Analytics Operations, leveraging AI and automation to advance analytics delivery and business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in a quantitative field.
• 10+ years of experience in Advanced Analytics or Technology.
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, statistical modeling, machine learning, data visualization, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with large-scale data and cloud platforms such as Teradata, Snowflake, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary technical teams; ability to review code and guide model development.
• Deep understanding of the B2B buying process; finance or sales experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into executive-level insights.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the growth analytics vision and strategy across marketing to sales.
• Translate engagement data and outcomes into actionable insights to improve demand generation and conversions.
• Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks across Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
• Model opportunity mix, pipeline conversion, and close ratios by segment to hit targets.
• Own and advance the Marketing‑to‑Sales attribution framework and thresholds.
• Advance funnel intelligence from reporting to planning, aligning with media investments and growth.
• Assess AI-powered search and automation impacts on engagement and attribution.
• Lead data strategy, data quality, and integration for trusted insights.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team using agile methods and ensure delivery.
