Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Transaction Management Director to lead a dedicated team for a complex global occupier client. This hybrid leadership role will own the health of the account's transaction function across regions, shape how the team operates, and advise client executives and CBRE leadership.

You will balance flawless execution, building a high-performing team, and evolving the operating model as the account scales. The role is based in San Francisco or Chicago with global scope.

Qualifications

• Senior leader responsible for health of account's transaction function across regions.
• Leads multi-region team, staffing strategy, and escalation paths.
• Partners with client executives and CBRE leadership to align strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the senior transaction management point of accountability for the client, coordinating delivery across regions and time zones.
• Partner directly with client stakeholders and CBRE account leadership to align real estate execution with the client's global strategy.
• Represent CBRE with executive presence in client-facing settings, translating complex real estate decisions into clear business outcomes.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of transaction professionals across regions.
• Own staffing strategy for the account: gearing, capacity planning, role design, hiring, and retention.
• Create an environment where the team operates consistently and shares best practices.
• Establish clear escalation paths and reporting lines for handling difficult transactions.
• Oversee a high volume of transactions across office, industrial, retail, and land, ensuring quality and client alignment.
• Own the account's financial health: fee models, forecasting, and margin performance.
• Maintain governance across the portfolio with regular reviews.
• Continuously improve the account's operating model, playbooks, reporting, and technology to raise service quality.
