Connect Tech+Talent in Austin, TX is seeking a Director of Global Operations & Compliance to own cross-functional operations, compliance, and AI-driven automation in a fast-growing tech business. You will work directly with leadership, manage SOC 2 Type II program, and oversee international logistics while identifying manual processes to automate with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology, engineering, software, operations, or related field.
• Experience in a small business, startup, or entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong mix of business operations technology execution.
• Software/application development background or strong technical understanding; comfortable with both software and hardware.
• Experience with SOC 2/compliance/audits and/or international logistics/supply chain is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Own critical areas across business operations, technology, international logistics, compliance, and AI-driven automation.
• Manage critical SaaS systems, subscriptions, payments, vendors, renewals, and day-to-day operational reliability.
• Oversee China factory relationships and coordinate shipping, warehousing, and fulfilment across the U.S. and Europe.
• Lead SOC 2 Type II program and support new compliance requirements such as FERPA.
