You will own the SOC 2 Type II program and drive scalable processes. The ideal candidate has 10 years in technology, engineering, software, or operations, with startup experience and a strong mix of business operations and technical execution.

Qualifications

• Experience with SOC 2/compliance/audits and/or international logistics is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Manage critical SaaS systems, subscriptions, payments, vendors, renewals, and day-to-day operational reliability (Mojo Helpdesk).
• Oversee shipping, warehousing, and fulfilment across the U.S. and Europe; manage China factory relationships.
• Own the SOC 2 Type II program and support new compliance requirements such as FERPA.
• Identify manual processes and implement automation using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok.
• Build scalable processes, solve cross-functional problems, and take on new responsibilities as the company grows.

The Role

You will work directly with leadership and own critical areas across business operations, technology, international logistics, compliance, and AI-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Operations: Manage critical SaaS systems, subscriptions, payments, vendors, renewals, and day‑to‑day operational reliability, including Mojo Helpdesk.

Logistics: Manage China factory relationships and coordinate shipping, logistics, warehousing, and fulfilment across the U.S. and Europe.

Compliance: Own the ongoing SOC 2 Type II program and support new compliance requirements such as FERPA.

Technology & AI: Identify manual processes and implement automation using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok.

What We’re Looking For

10 years in technology, engineering, software, operations, or a related field.

Experience in a small business, startup, or entrepreneurial environment.

Strong mix of business operations technology execution.

Software/application development background or strong technical understanding; comfortable with both software and hardware.

Experience with SOC 2/compliance/audits and/or international logistics/supply chain is highly valuable.

Strong communication, writing, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Comfortable adopting AI and automation.

Reliable, adaptable, self‑directed, and willing to occasionally put in extra hours when needed.

Education: Degree preferred but not required; diploma relevant experience acceptable. Certifications not required.
