Job summary

Sims Limited is seeking a transformative executive to lead global AI, data and analytics. You will define strategy, build a scalable data platform, and lead a diverse team across AI, data engineering and BI to deliver measurable business outcomes across plants, yards and logistics.

You will partner with the CTO and senior leadership to drive governance, responsible AI and value realisation, while embedding new ways of working with operations and enterprise functions.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience in AI, data, analytics in a global or complex org.
• Proven ability to translate business problems into AI/data solutions.
• Experience taking AI/data products from problem to production with value realisation.

Responsibilities

• Define global AI, data and analytics strategy aligned with Sims priorities.
• Lead enterprise data platform, governance and architecture initiatives.
• Build and scale a multidisciplinary team across AI, data engineering and BI.
• Establish secure, production-ready data and AI delivery pathways.
• Drive adoption, governance and value realisation across sites and functions.
