National Underground Group seeks an entrepreneurial Senior Director of Geospatial Data Services in Richmond, VA. This executive will design a 3–5 year growth plan centered on utility asset mapping and digital infrastructure, forging strategic relationships with utilities, municipalities, and engineering firms.

The role will build new revenue streams, manage budgets and margins, and lead a national team of GIS professionals, with travel approx. 30% and a direct line to the CEO.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, GIS, Surveying, Geography, Construction Management, or related field.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute a 3- to 5-year growth strategy focused on revenue diversification, anchored by Utility Asset Mapping & Digital Infrastructure.
• Reduce dependence on one-call ticket volume by building recurring revenue models and higher-margin services.
• Identify and evaluate new service lines, acquisitions, partnerships, and market opportunities across utilities.
• Lead the development of the Utility Asset Mapping practice and related services.
• Recruit and build a national GIS team and establish governance and performance metrics.
