Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a Director of Gaming Ops to lead the Gaming Department, ensuring a premier guest experience across our Derby City Gaming & Hotel property in Louisville.

The role oversees operations, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with regulators, HRM systems, and equipment providers to optimize performance and safety. You will develop team members and drive initiatives to improve gaming performance and profitability.

Qualifikationen

• Seven to ten years of operations and management experience in a multi-device 24-hour gaming operation.
• Significant experience collecting, organizing, evaluating, and presenting gaming performance data.
• Prior experience with a Historical Horse Racing System or similar network system is a plus.
• Experience using Aristocrat Oasis Accounting System is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a valid Racing License and a Sportsbook License.

• Oversee Gaming Operations and floor management to optimize performance.
• Review staffing to maintain appropriate employment levels.
• Manage the department's financial results.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and the BSA.
• Develop team members through coaching, interviewing, hiring, and evaluations.
• Coordinate with regulators and HRM hardware/software providers.
• Support HRM optimization initiatives and regulatory submissions when needed.
