Job summary

Magna Search Group in New York is seeking a strategic Head of FP&A to lead and transform the finance function. This senior role will own the three-statement model, run budgeting and forecasting, and deliver executive-level insights to guide growth.

Reporting to the Deputy CFO, the candidate will build scalable FP&A processes in a high-growth SaaS/tech environment. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring active modeling and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise.
• Strong forecasting and budgeting capabilities.
• Experience supporting executives and boards with insights.
• Background in high-growth, venture-backed or private equity environments.
• Proven ability to build or transform FP&A functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the integrated three-statement model.
• Lead annual budgeting across units.
• Develop rolling forecasts with variance analysis.
• Establish FP&A cadence, calendar, and reporting processes.
• Partner with finance, accounting, sales, ops and leaders to improve visibility.
• Build executive and board reporting packages and dashboards.
• Support strategic initiatives including growth, geographic expansion, and capital allocation.
