Job summary

Lovable is building a world-class Forward Deployed Engineering team. This leadership role combines hands-on coding with strategic team-building, working directly with customers to solve ambitious problems and deploying AI-powered software in real-world contexts.

You will partner with other FDE leaders to set standards, influence product direction, and scale the function globally, while remaining deeply involved in delivery with your team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years across software engineering, architecture, and customer-facing engineering.
• Experience leading high-performing technical teams.
• Strong hands-on leadership while scope grows.
• Excellent frontend and backend fundamentals; distributed systems expertise.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and lead an exceptional team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Work directly with customers to understand workflows and solve technical problems.
• Personally design, prototype, and implement solutions with your team.
• Own projects from concept to architecture to shipping and iteration, guiding technical direction.
