BNY Mellon is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager for the Client Portfolio Management team in Boston. The role emphasizes a fixed income background with breadth across asset classes.

You will communicate the firm's value proposition, investment philosophy, and product suite to internal and external audiences, supporting business development and client engagement. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in client-facing roles, strong investment acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in a client-facing technical role such as marketing or product specialist.
• Strong investment and analytical acumen; CFA and/or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to succinctly explain complex ideas.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with portfolio management, research, and distribution teams.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate Insight's history and value proposition as an asset management firm.
• Effectively communicate the firm's product offerings (Mutual Funds, CITs and ETFs) and investment philosophy to position the firm against competitors.
• Collaborate with distribution and investment teams to determine proper positioning of strategies and represent the firm with internal and external sales teams and end clients.
• Maintain consultative and solutions-based discussions with existing and prospective investors.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of marketing materials including fund commentaries and investment reports.
• Inform and support the development of our product offering to include additional mutual funds, ETFs, CITs and SMA platform.
• Contribute market intelligence to Insights monitoring of the competitive landscape.
