Job summary

Social Capital Resources is assisting an established financial services firm in NYC to fill a senior leadership role as Head of Fixed Income Operations. You will lead a team overseeing day-to-day coverage across fixed income products, partnering with trading, technology, compliance and other internal teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services with fixed income operations.
• Experience building and leading an operations team.
• Deep knowledge of corporate bonds and U.S. Treasuries trade lifecycle.
• Experience with repo, securities financing, or fixed income prime brokerage.
• Strong post-trade controls and settlement knowledge.
• Familiarity with DTCC/FICC, Fedwire, and institutional settlements.
• Exposure to platforms like Broadridge, Pershing, Bloomberg.
• Understanding regulatory trade reporting and broker-dealer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for fixed income trade support and post-trade operations.
• Oversee daily processing and lifecycle management across fixed income products.
• Partner with trading and front-office teams to resolve operational issues.
• Manage escalations involving trade breaks and failed settlements.
• Oversee settlement, clearing and securities financing processes.
• Support fixed income prime brokerage and customer clearing activity.
• Maintain operational controls and drive efficiency and automation.
• Manage relationships with third-party technology and service providers.
• Support implementation of new products, workflows, systems, and initiatives.
• Ensure processes align with regulatory and internal controls.
• Develop procedures and reporting for a scalable operating environment.
• Serve as senior point of contact for fixed income operations.
