Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a Lead Fixed Income Operations Manager in New York to lead the Fixed Income Operations team supporting Credit, Rates, MBS, Repo, and Client Clearing across the full trade lifecycle. You will oversee internal and outsourced partners, manage settlements, trade breaks, regulatory reporting, and drive process improvements in collaboration with Front Office and vendors.

The role requires 10+ years in financial services and at least 3 years of management, with deep Fixed Income

Qualifications

10+ years of financial services experience and 3+ years of management experience.
Strong Fixed Income Operations experience, including Corporate Bonds, US Treasuries, and Repo.
Experience with Fedwire, DTCC, and international settlements.
Client Series 99 required.
Client BPS, Pershing NetX360, Bloomberg TOMS, and TRACE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop the Fixed Income Operations team and outsourced partners.
Oversee settlements, trade breaks, fails, corporate actions, securities financing, and regulatory reporting.
Partner with Front Office and vendors to improve processes, controls, and automation.
Monitor TRACE reporting and ensure compliance with SEC, Client, NFA, CFTC, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.
Serve as the escalation point for operational issues and manage the control framework.
