Job summary

Jobtailor in New York seeks a senior partnerships leader to own end-to-end data partnership strategy with financial data vendors and content providers. You will drive sourcing, pitching, legal negotiation, and go-live, building a scalable partnership function from the ground up.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope ingestion, structuring, and availability of content for GenAI grounding. Manage the pipeline and report impact to the Chief Data Officer and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of finance and investment analyst workflows.
• Track record sourcing, negotiating, and closing partnerships or licensing deals, preferably in financial data, market data, or licensable content.
• Comfort working with large data vendors, alternative data providers, and brand-name content owners.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and technical fluency.
• Understanding of how content grounds LLM outputs.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Judgment balancing commercial terms, legal risk, and speed to market.
• Self-starter capable of building a function from the ground up.
• Based in New York; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Lead content and data acquisition partnerships.
• Own the partnership strategy end to end from sourcing to go-live.
• Identify, pitch, and close partnerships with market data vendors, alternative data providers, and licensable content owners.
• Build and manage relationships with content and data providers.
• Lead commercial negotiations including licensing terms, redistribution rights, and usage restrictions.
• Translate investment analyst use cases into partnership pitches.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to scope content ingestion and availability.
• Manage the partnership pipeline and report progress to leadership.
• Represent RavenPack at industry events and through direct outreach.
• Monitor competitive landscape for data marketplaces and GenAI grounding platforms.
• Lead a team and build the partnership function as it scales.
• Report to the Chief Data Officer with executive exposure.
