Job summary

10a Labs is seeking a Head of Finance to own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning as the company scales rapidly in the United States. You will lead GAAP reporting, cash management, and cross-functional partnerships with leadership and external accountants.

In this fully remote role (US-based) you will build scalable processes, develop executive dashboards, and drive strategic financial decisions. Prior FP&A, accounting and CPA credentials strongly preferred; MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or related discipline.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement analysis.
• Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Advanced financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience preparing executive-level financial reporting and analyses.
• Experience partnering with business leaders for strategic decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models for strategic planning and operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages with analyses.
• Partner with department leaders to develop budgets and monitor spending.
• Own cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Oversee month-end/year-end close with external accounting firms.
• Develop and improve financial policies and internal controls.
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
• Build analyses and business cases for strategic initiatives and pricing.
• Assist with board reporting, fundraising, and investor materials.
