Job summary

CapsLock is seeking a Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of a fast-growing marketing business. You will ensure accurate reporting and provide strategic guidance to support business goals while reporting to the CFO.

The role requires a 10+ year finance background with leadership, IFRS/GAAP experience, and strong communication skills. This fully remote position offers above-market compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• MBA, CPA, ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in finance with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end/year-end processes, IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with executive stakeholders.
• Fluent English and ability to work with a diverse, remote global team.

Responsibilities

• Lead bookkeeping, FP&A, taxation/compliance teams.
• Oversee accounting and implement financial policies/practices.
• Oversee budgeting; supervise plan/fact analyses.
• Oversee financial, investment reporting; maintain controls.
• Oversee tax filings and regulatory compliance; tax planning for M&A.
• Improve financial processes and reporting for efficiency and strategic relevance.
• Communicate insights on financial performance to the executive team.
• Manage relationships with banks, tax advisers, and external consultants.
