Job summary

Branch Financial, LLC is seeking a senior VP of Finance to lead planning, forecasting, and performance across the business. Reporting to the CFO, you will run the planning process, own the long-term financial model, and partner with executives to shape investment choices.

You will build and coach a growing team and drive scalable finance capability in a remote-first environment. This executive role requires deep expertise in FP&A, strategic finance, and collaboration across Accounting,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of FP&A/finance roles, including 5+ years leading managers.
• Experience in startup or fast-growing org with change leadership.
• Proven planning/forecasting for insurance or insurtech or regulated settings.
• Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Leadership of BI/data teams and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to present clear recommendations to executives.
• Experience building and growing teams of managers.
• Comfort with ambiguity in rapid growth.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets and BI/reporting tools.
• Bachelor's in finance/accounting/economics; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for FP&A, product finance, and business insights teams.
• Lead annual plan and long-range financial model end-to-end.
• Oversee forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis across departments.
• Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to executives.
• Lead strategic finance work including business cases and pricing analyses.
• Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, Product, Sales, Claims, and Data leaders.
• Manage a team of 10 and develop future leaders.
• Improve planning and reporting tools to scale with Branch.
